Art Studio Manager

Create and maintain a fun, organized, and functional studio environment at Cloud 9 Workshop.

15–20 hours/week

Cloud 9 Workshop is looking for an organized, creative, proactive, and positive individual to help manage the day-to-day art studio operations. The Studio Manager plays an important role in keeping the studio running smoothly, supporting our teaching team, and creating a welcoming experience for children, families, and community members.

Responsibilities Include:

Studio Management

  • Manage and maintain the studio space, including organization, cleaning, and small maintenance projects
  • Create and maintain systems that support efficient studio management
  • Organize and maintain the shop
  • Install and manage monthly Artventure projects
  • Prep and organize materials for in-studio and off-site workshops and events

Team Management & Communication

  • Supervise, schedule, and communicate with teachers, guides, and interns
  • Ensure staff hours are entered accurately and completely
  • Manage internal communication and information flow for guides and teachers
  • Meet weekly with Kelcey to review studio operations, priorities, and upcoming needs

Customer & Community Engagement

  • Manage party bookings and booking communications
  • Manage membership administration and help build a strong member community
  • Manage donation requests
  • Contribute to creating a welcoming and engaging studio experience

Marketing & Growth

  • Contribute to sales goals and studio growth
  • Help with social media and other marketing promotions
  • Manage and update website content

Possible Additional Hours

Additional hours may be available for:

  • Birthday parties
  • In-studio and off-site workshops and events
  • Pop-up shows

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, dependable, creative, communicative, and comfortable taking initiative. We’re looking for someone who enjoys both the behind-the-scenes work of keeping a creative space running smoothly and the people-focused work of building a fun and welcoming community.

Pay: $22–$27/hour based on experience
Hours: 15–20 hours/week, with opportunities for additional hours based on events and studio needs

 

Art Studio Coordinator

Cloud 9 Workshop is looking for friendly, patient, super-fun, and positive individuals to lead hands-on art workshops and parties for children. Art Studio Coordinators should enjoy working with kids, creating engaging hands-on projects, and fostering a fun and welcoming studio environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on art workshops and birthday parties for children
  • Prepare materials and projects before programs and parties
  • Work directly with participants to provide guidance and encouragement
  • Clean up after programs and parties
  • Help maintain a fun, positive, and organized studio environment

Experience working with children and hands-on project experience is required. Teaching or group-leadership experience is preferred.

Current Openings

  • After School Art Club: 12-week program, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:45–6:15 PM
  • ArtTogether with Tots: 12-week program, Thursdays, 8:30–11:45 AM and 5:30–7:30 PM
  • After School Art Programming: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 2:00–4:00 PM
  • Birthday Parties: Ongoing Saturdays and Sundays

Art Studio Assistant

Cloud 9 Workshop is looking for friendly, patient, super-fun, and positive individuals to support our Studio Coordinators as they lead art workshops and parties for children.

Art Studio Assistants should enjoy interacting with children, creating hands-on projects, and being part of a fun and welcoming studio environment. Assistants should also be willing to learn, take direction, and jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support Studio Coordinators during art workshops and birthday parties
  • Work hands-on with children and participants
  • Prepare materials and projects
  • Assist with clean-up
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
  • Follow direction and assist with other studio needs as needed

This is a flexible, part-time position, generally on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with approximately 5–10 hours most weeks.

Weekday Opening

We are also specifically looking for two Studio Assistants to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 2:00–4:00 PM. Additional hours may be available depending on availability and studio needs.

Pay: $14–$17/hour
