Did you know that the studio has it’s own store?
We call it a pocket shop because it is nestled in between the front and back studios. We carry fun art supplies and kits to extend in-studio experiences and make possible art making at home!
Kelcey’s Favorite 5 include:
1. Deco Marbling Kit– Perfect for family fun or an individual exploration of marbling. You won’t believe the colors! So exciting!! Ages: 6-adult
2. Present Not Perfect– this is a new Wisconsin made addition to the shop! Fun sensory play for our youngest makers! It’s reusable and comes in a handy container. Ages: 3-6
3. Ooly Pearlesant Watercolors – super cool factor…they show up brilliantly on black paper!! What? I know! They are so much fun! Ages: 6-Adult
4. Circuitry Kits – Make your own solar car, solar bugs, or cool circuitry cards! These kits are made locally by Brown Dog Gadgets
5. Cloud 9 Gear! – Meet Cloudy our studio mascot. Fun fact: Cloudy was designed by my niece, Marta, who is now studying animation at Central Michigan University! We have shirts, stickers and tote bags that are perfect for carrying all your maker studio projects!
Kelcey created Cloud 9 Workshop in 2012. The business name came to her while rocking her youngest in the wee hours of a warm summer morning. While the name came in a flash, the business has taken 11 yrs to develop. She believes art experiences add richness to life & provide opportunities to explore & express thoughts, ideas, & feelings. Currently, she is working towards a doctorate in art education. Time with her family is what she enjoys most & her favorite collection is sea glass & driftwood.
