Mac & Cheese Box Puppets
Cloud 9 Kid Connection:

Process:
ADULTS
- Using a utility knife or pocket knife cut across box center and down both short sides, leaving one side intact. Fold the box against the remaining side to form the mouth.
KIDS
- Test out your puppet box & make it talk. What does your puppet say? What kind of animal is your puppet?
- Cut & glue construction paper to cover all box sides. Tip: Trace each side of the box onto construction paper and then cut out the shapes. (Note: Acrylic paint may also be used but tempera paint does not stick well to the glossy box surface.)
- Make eyes using construction paper or pom pom balls & glue to box
- Add details like a nose, tongue, ears, whiskers, fur or teeth.
- Play & have a chat with your puppet!
